1. Willem Claesz. Heda
(Haarlem ca. 1599-1680)
"Breakfast" Still life with Oysters and two 'Roemers'
ca. 1635
2. This master's painting is called Breakfast, because of the simple and blatant subject matter. It is full of discarded breakfast items, cups, plates and food.
3. The focus is to the right of the image on a cup full of water, being the tallest object it catches the eye.
4. I think the meaning behind it, or the reason is that he wanted to study the lights and shadows on water and old food.
5. I really like this painting, the detail is mindblowing. I find it really subtle and beautiful. I really enjoy how the light hits the water in the glass, it looks so real but it still has that oil feel to it.

Boiling point
My next self proclaimed assinment...boiling my film. It's this prosses where you pop a undeveloped canister of film into boiling water for like 2 minutes and it alters the negitive. I like died when I saw the picture that this guy did. I'm really excited to do it.

Sorry if this a repeat for some of you:
In a lack of eloquence I've decided that I’m doing a photo shoot, of my friends, of people around me: Of scars and bones and imperfections. All anonymous, no matter what your weight or looks. Message me because I’m doing this. I need to do this, it’s been on my mind for months. Again, completely anonymous photo’s. This shoot will focus of things the things people wish they could change, in a flattering manner. Things like hips, feet, legs, stomachs, backs. Please message me if you are interested, I would love to have you...
